Where's the security?
By Solipsister (Pcmac )
This app should never have been approved for the App Store. (Is there NO oversight on Apple's part? Don't submitted apps have to go through rigorous tests and checklists to get approved? Apparently not!) This app – right down to its clumsy name – is very poorly written, with an ugly amateurish UI. But the main problem with "this app" (!) is that it doesn't seem to have any SECURITY attached to it. Or does it? The description doesn't mention anything about security. So what fool would trust this app with his/her credit card info, s, etc? Not this one! I've always assumed that Apple screens any submitted app to meet certain criteria. (E.g., Does the app provide at least some minimal standard of security if it will be used to handle sensitive information?) "this app" seems so haphazardly written that I doubt the developer even thought of security. This app should be booted out of the store.
