Nothing but ads?

EDIT: Dev ed me quickly and reported that I need to simply wait through the first ad while my friends list is analyzed. I realized that stopping an ad repeatedly slowed down the process greatly because a new ad would be loaded. After a reasonable wait, the process did finish. I changed my review from 1 star to 5, but I think the developer should edit the app description since it clearly states that the app is not ad-funded, yet ads are a big part of the usage. ****** The app description says “no ads”, subscription-only, but when I try and refresh the data, I am presented with a string of ads so long that I cannot click through them all. I have never successfully completed a refresh because of this. I’m asg one star because so far that accurately reflects my experience. As soon as someone points out a mistake I am making, I will adjust the review.
Works until it doesn’t

Uninstalled after it kept saying there was an error, installed app and not fighting for through the ads. Why isn’t there a restore purchase option at the start of the app so those the app paid previously for it do not have to wait through them again? Update-I let the app run for about two plus hours, essentially holding my phone hostage. I wanted to give the app one last solid try, but alas the app still did not load. Had I not paid for it, I would totally understand sitting through the ads. Had it been working properly I wouldn’t have had to uninstall and reinstall. Hey, it happens, I understand that. But this is beyond ridiculous, I finally gave up and purchased a different app. This issue would be resolved by incorporating a restore/ purchase option at app start up. Then those the app rather wait through the ads can and those the app do not can upgrade. But hey making those s the app’ve already paid sit through an endless ad loop every time the app needs to be re installed doesn’t cost you guys anything, after all you already have our money.

Updated review: the developer replied to my original review very quickly. After I was still having a few issues I was able to discuss on FB messenger, again very quickly, and I have full confidence that any remaining errors will be addressed. Original post: I have enjoyed this app for about a year now. It had worked well up until a few weeks ago. I have waited for a couple of updates to say anything as I was hoping it would be resolved. Currently unable to see new changes. The app keeps erroring and will not load new changes to adds or deletes. I tried logging out and back in. It didn’t lose my data (which I was afraid of) but it also didn’t resolve the issue.

This app had been working fairly well for several months, which is why I gave the 3 stars. However, while checking the app today it told me that every single one of my friends either deleted me or their , which is obviously not accurate. I noticed a couple other people have reviewed they are having be same problem! Is there any solution to this? I have logged out, deleted and re-ed the app, but it continues to be stuck staying my Facebook has 0 friends. I would even be willing to pay $1.99 for the ‘’ version since it worked well for several months, but I’m not going to do that with it not working period at this point. Developers?
